Birdbath tipping could be nothing more that a sign of thirsty or overheated squirrels trying to find a cool drink. Then again, maybe they just felt your yard needed some minor landscaping. More than likely, the squirrels thought the birdbath was on their property and were trying to move it to a more appropriate place (perhaps to their new Olympic training facility to practice diving.) Once they figured out that the birdbath was too big to move to the tree, they probably abandoned the project all together and settled for the local public pool as their new training facility.
